One of many ways to make a flesh tone. This is the blue way. BLUE??? Yes…..blue.

Ingredients (left to right):
Titanium white.
Primary yellow.
Cadmium orange hue.
Naphthol crimson.
Ultramarine blue.

Basically you’re just using white, yellow, orange, red, and blue.

First mix red & blue until you get a deep bloody looking violet color. Then start adding yellow, orange, and white until you get the desired flesh tone you want.

The key is to use lots of white. You don’t need lots of yellow.

Experiment. Have fun.

Trying to put my son to bed while painting. Very difficult task. Not impossible though.
